Mariela Limerutti nació en San Juan, Argentina dónde estudió Artes Visuales en la Universidad Nacional de San Juan. Ha recibido numerosas becas y premios en Argentina, Alemania y España renombrados internacionalmente. Ha desarrollado proyectos de arte y participado de exhibiciones en Argentina, España, Bélgica, Italia y Alemania. Los temas y motivos de sus trabajos se refieren a comportamientos cotidianos y a elementos como nubes, tierra, flores y agua con cuya ayuda se crea un nuevo modo de ver la realidad. Sus trabajos intervienen en lo cotidiano y se entienden como un acto en la vida pública que incluyen a diferentes grupos sociales acercando unos a otros en interrelación y comunicación.

Mariela Limerutti was born in San Juan, Argentina, where she studied art at the National University-San Juan. She got numerous, internationally renowned scholarships and grants in Argentina, Germany and Spain. She has developed art projects and participed in Exhibitions in Argentina, Spain, Belgium, Italy and Germany. Mariela Limerutti´s artistic topics and motives are daily behavior as well as elements like clouds, earth, flowers and water, with whose help she creates a new view manner on the reality. Her works intervene into everyday routines and they are understood as an act of public life, which include mixed social groups and bring to each other in relationship.
